Dr. Unson went to medical school at St. Luke’s College of Medicine and completed his Medical Internship at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Year 2000. He obtained his Residency Training in General Surgery at Veterans Memorial Medical Center. He then developed a particular interest in plastic surgery and was able to finish his Fellowship Training in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery at Makati Medical Center.

He is a Member of the Philippine Association of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons (PAPRAS), the Philippine Medical Association (PMA), and Quezon City Medical Society. He passed several Professional examinations and ranked first at the Philippine Board of Plastic Surgery Written Examination.

In addition, he frequently attends Seminars and Trainings all over Asia for his Continuous Medical Education.

Alongside his private aesthetic work, he is a Volunteer Plastic Surgeon of both Philippine Band of Mercy Craniofacial Center (Philippines) and Operation Smile International (Philippines), where every little thing he does makes a big difference in patients’ lives.

Dr. Unson has been trained in all areas of aesthetic plastic surgery. Whilst he performs the full range of plastic surgery procedures, his special interest lies in cosmetic and reconstructive breast surgery.
